Top Tips on How to Care for Your Worktop
Share
As mentioned in our previous blog post, there are many options to choose from when it comes to kitchen and bathroom worktops. Such as Granite, Quartz and Marble. But how do you care for your new worktop? We have listed 3 ways for you to do just that!
1. Don’t get abrasive
Don’t use any abrasive or acidic cleaners on your worktop. Any substances that contain vinegar, lemon or bleach can eat away at sealing and can even damage the stone.
2. Keep it simple
The best and easiest way to gently clean a granite worktop is to use a mixture of soap and warm water. Simple! For daily maintenance, it’s a good idea to use a microfiber cloth.
3. Clean it quickly
Even leaving fresh fruit, wine or orange juice can stain the worktop or even eat away at the stone, so if something spills clean it as soon as you can!
We hope these worktop tips will help to keep your granite, marble and quartz worktops in good shape. However, they are just a few tips on how to care for your kitchen or bathroom worktop.
