Moviegoers are in for a treat as the eagerly-anticipated Royal Cinemas in Sutton Coldfield is back with a new look and feel after undergoing a complete revamp. We were thrilled to have played a part in restoring this iconic venue to its 1930s Art Deco past.
The Royal Cinemas boasts a charming and nostalgic atmosphere, capturing the glamour of the golden era of cinema. From the stunning architectural details to the luxurious worktops, every aspect of the renovation was designed to celebrate the past while embracing modern technology.
One of the highlights of the restoration is the Royal Bar, featuring beautiful Indian black granite worktops that perfectly complement the art deco décor. The worktops add timeless elegance and sophisticated charm to the space, creating a striking and sophisticated atmosphere that is perfect for a pre-show drink or a night out with friends.
Another standout feature is the cinema ticket counter, which features beautiful Java Black quartz worktops: black quartz with paler irregular veins spread over the surface. The sleek design of these worktops captures the modern spirit of cinema, creating a sophisticated and inviting ambiance for moviegoers.
