Purple Granite Ltd Warranty
Purple Granite Ltd guarantees the registered owner of the installed product against any manufacturing defects for a minimum of 10 YEARS from the date of purchase. Please keep your proof of purchase.
What the Warranty Covers:- This warranty is limited to the purchaser of Purple Granite Ltd's surfaces and covers manufacturing defects under normal use and service.
- Purple Granite Ltd will replace or repair any defective product under the terms and conditions contained herein, with the same characteristics (colour, thickness, etc.) as those of the product purchased by the customer.
Conditions of Warranty:- This warranty is conditional upon the strict observance by the consumer of the instructions for use and maintenance issued by Purple Granite Ltd prior to installation.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover:- Any damage caused directly or indirectly by third parties not related to Purple Granite Ltd.
- Impact damages, misuse, or inappropriate chemical treatment.
- Damage resulting from improper use, including but not limited to:
- Use of the product for purposes other than those intended.
- Use of the product in non-compliance with applicable technical or safety standards.
- Failure to follow user and maintenance guidance.
- Damage or injury caused by force majeure events, job site conditions, architectural and engineering design flaws, structural movement, acts of vandalism, accidents, natural disasters, interactions with other products, or any other cause beyond Purple Granite Ltd's control.
- Variations in colour, tone, shade, particle structure, or gloss level due to natural changes over time.
- Cracks or chipping resulting from improper use, excessive weight, direct application of heat, or impact.
- Consequential or incidental damage, loss, or expense other than the product itself, including damage to other products or installations, or additional repairs on plumbing, electrical, or masonry work.
- Damage from continuous or intensive use, especially in commercial or common areas.
- Differences between samples or photographs and the actual product purchased.
- Products not paid for in full.
- Commercial use of Purple Granite Ltd products.
Joints:- Joints are warranted for 3 months from the date of installation. If joints fail, a repair kit will be offered free of charge, or repairs will be made free of charge when convenient for Purple Granite Ltd.
Warranty Claim Process:- If a Purple Granite Ltd product is found to have a defect within the warranty terms, Purple Granite Ltd will, after verification, replace or repair the material.
- If repair is not possible, the product will be replaced with one of identical characteristics, or if unavailable, a similar product at a similar price point.
Exclusions:- The warranty excludes all marble products.
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Dispute Resolution:- Any disputes arising from this warranty will be resolved through arbitration or mediation in accordance with applicable laws.

Understanding Quality & Safety Information
We understand that customers are sometimes asked to compare quartz worktops based on whether a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is available.
We want to reassure you about what this document means and, importantly, what it does not tell you about the quality of your finished worktop.
What is a Safety Data Sheet?
A Safety Data Sheet is primarily a technical health and safety document. For quartz products, much of the safety information relates to the fabrication process, when materials are cut, ground or polished and fine dust can be produced.
An SDS is important for the people fabricating your quartz. It is not a quality rating for the worktop in your kitchen.
It should not be confused with a quality certificate or a rating of how good a finished quartz worktop is.
Some quartz manufacturers make SDS documents readily available, while others provide different forms of technical or product documentation.
The availability of an SDS does not, on its own, mean that one quartz worktop is higher quality than another.
So how should quartz worktops be compared?
When choosing a quartz worktop, we believe customers should consider the complete product and service, including:
· The suitability of the material for its intended use
· The quality and consistency of the slab
· The fabrication and finishing of the worktop
· Accurate templating and professional installation
· The warranty and aftercare provided
· The experience and reputation of the fabricator
· Who will actually take responsibility if there is a problem
Our Quartz Worktops
Purple Granite has extensive experience sourcing, fabricating and installing quartz worktops.
We work with established stone suppliers and carefully select the materials we are prepared to offer our customers. Where manufacturer-specific technical or safety documentation is available, we are happy to provide it on request.
Just as importantly, your worktop is professionally templated, fabricated and installed by an experienced stone fabricator, with Purple Granite there to support you throughout the process.
Safety in Your Home
Quartz containing crystalline silica requires appropriate controls during fabrication because cutting and grinding can create respirable dust. This is an occupational fabrication issue, which is why professional fabrication procedures and controls are so important.
Once your worktop has been professionally fabricated and installed, normal domestic use does not involve the cutting or grinding processes that generate this fabrication dust.
